CABLE/SOLID ROD

I CAN'T ASSIGN CABLE OR SOLID ROD ON MY PROJECT. WHAT WILL I DO? HELP ME PLEASE

    I have been trying to use solid rod profiles in my project (AISC Code) can u please help me to understand how i can create the same in staad pro connect edition.

  • You can create a solid rod by using the Define button or by adding it from Dutch section database. Both options are explained in the posts above. Note that solid rods in STAAD.Pro can be analyzed, but not designed.

    i tried adding it  as u said , but after the analysis it says that member property is not supported.

  • As I mentioned, STAAD.Pro does not support design of solid rods. You can only analyze it to get the forces and design it manually.
