I am working on a live project and came across a problem on how to model in such a manner in STAAD.
Actually I was given with an architectural plan with column positions fixed and in no situation I can avoid a column to be eccentric. I have came across a problem on how to model a column with its beam connecting both ends in eccentric manner. I have attached a snap shot of it in order to give a clear idea. Please suggest me on how should I proceed towards my solution and it will be of great help if someone can model a small case in STAAD keeping the above problem in mind.

You can use offset command from General > Specs > Beam > Offset. The assigned beam will be moved by the defined magnitude and direction while maintaining same end conditions with the connected members.
A sample is included where offsets are assigned to beam number 18 and 19.
