Please tell me the procedure that we need to follow to tell the staad software to select member sizes in a model?

Thank you, I am using IS 800:2007 code, and want to tell the staad software select Indian Sections to my structure only. But I followed one procedure for member selection where it selected AISC sections, instead of IS sections. Please confirm whether the followed procedure is correct or not and I didn't add PROFILE parameter. Please tell me how we go about selecting members both for strength and serviceability criteria.

The following modifications applied in your file.
1. ***WARNING: THE VALUE OF MOMENT AMPLIFICATION FACTORS KY OR KZ IS GREATER THAN 1.4 FOR MEMBER # 46 FOR LOADCASE- 7. SECOND-ORDER ELASTIC ANALYSIS MUST BE PERFORMED AS PER SECTION 4.4.2 of IS800-2007. ALSO, ENSURE THAT THE TYPE OF COMBINATION USED IS REPEAT LOAD OR REFERENCE LOAD INSTEAD OF THE LOAD COMBINATION SYNTAX EXCEPT FOR RESPONSE SPECTRUM LOAD CASES.
Second order P-Delta analysis command has been added instead of first order analysis. *PERFORM ANALYSIS

2. All LOAD COMBINATION replaced with REPEAT LOAD necessary for P-Delta analysis.
3. Four GROUP (Ax) commands have been added after SELECT to instruct STAAD to select same section for all the assigned members in a GROUP command.
4. Another ANALYSIS command added so that analysis can be performed based upon the selected sections.
Now you will be able to see the results in Post-processing > Beam > Unity Check. Also the selected sections will be available in Property dialog box but need to be assigned manually.
