How to Apply Load with Eccentricity

Question

Hi, 
 How can I apply a concentrated load with eccentricity in STAAD? 
 I have a beam at EL+8m and it supports a saw machine which may be pushed by 1m (away from the beam). 
 Kindly see above snapshot. 
 Please advise.

You may used a Concentrated Member Load and enter d2 value for the eccentricity. 
 
 You may alose use a nodal moment to simulate the moment which is created by the eccentricity of that vertical load.

Yes, STAAD will consider the loading even if d2 is more than half of the flange width. However, this won't be visible in the graphical user interface.

The d2 value is positive in the general direction of the parallel local axis. The eccentricity value can be seen in the loading name in the GUI or in the STAAD Editor.
