Hi,
I have a 3 fixed-base SHS profile-columns (5m length) with the following K parameters (EN):
Highlighted red above: KZ=2.1
KY=2.3 for above red-highlighted columns
KY=2.1 for above red-highlighted column
Here are their beam numbers:
Now, I am confused as to why the buckling calculation (effective length) results in the STAAD Output Viewer resulted to below:
Did I input the K values wrong?
Please advise.
