I find out Ram seems doesn't consider composite action for beams with rotated orientation and I want to know how to include composite actions into my model.
Anyone has this issue before?
If your beams are only angled slightly to the orientation if the deck, then only a few deck flutes will cross the beam and it may not be possible to fit enough studs for the minimum composite action requirement. The program will then select a non-composite section that works. Using modified deck is an option (or design them non-compositely). Check our Steel Beam FAQ for more.
