Attached please find herewith a model of a foot-over bridge, where I have assigned multiple connections in the same joint but used the offset command. Can this problem be resolved. Check my model & it would be helpful if anyone can fix it.In-Station 15m(staircase).rar
Whenever program finds more than one member between same pair of nodes, it considers other members as duplicate member and a warning message is displayed. If you go to Tools > Check duplicate > Members, program will highlight all these members. This is a friendly warning and if the duplicate member is intentional, you can ignore the warnings.
When you offset a member at a node, a rigid member is created internally between the original and offset node position. Accordingly, additional forces generated for this offset. So it is not recommended to use the offset command. In your model, you can avoid the offset command by creating the bracing members properly.
Can you revise the model using bracing members and send it back as a rar file(since user table has been used)
