I have a complex beam arrangement in the floor with openings in that case it would take a lot of time to apply load as floor load since the co-ordinates will have to be defined. Instead of that would it be right to model plates & apply loads on it without meshing it. Also how can I mesh all the plates by selecting all plates & keeping the aspect ratio same.
You can model plates and assign the pressure load on it. The load to the members will be transferred trough the nodes of the plates only.
To mesh the plates, select all plates, right click and select the option Generate Plate Mesh.
