I am designing a two way roof slab for an underground structure in RAM Concept and the results I do not seem to be inline with a typical two way slab system. I modeled it in the Strip Wizard and it seems to be more accurate. When comparing the results, it appears that the fixity at the perimeter wall is not being taken into account in the Concept model. Is there a way to fix this issue?
Seth, I modeled it in concept (not using Structural System) and checked the box for "fixed near/fixed far". Is this what you were referencing? It still does seem to be working as a typical two way slab / my strip wizard results. Is there a way for you to review my model?
Those are the settings. The thickness and height of the wall is the other factors. You can send a file (preferably zipped) in the reply (Insert menu), or upload securely using Secure File Upload (like below)
