In our office we are using Intergraph SmartPlan 3D and PDS to generate 3D models. Is ISM of Connected Edition able to transfer the model between SmartPlan 3D or PDS to StaadPro?
KC: As of now getting the model data from SP3D or PDS through ISM is not possible. Exporting in the CIS/2 format from SP3D is the way for now. As far as PDS is concerned, there used to be a structural module called Frameworks Plus and it had the ability to directly write a .std file as far as I remember. So that may be something worth exploring too. I would also like to add that integration with SP3D is something that our product management/development is actively working on.
