Yield Line theory is taken into account while applying floor load in staad. After the application of floor load the tributary area of each beam is visible. But, is there any option in Staad where I can check the load carried by each beam after applying floor load. Since, for irregular shaped slab panels it is very difficult to calculate tributary area manually after applying floor load it would be very helpful if I could get the numeric values of the tributary area of a beam from staad.
In the loading page in GUI, switch on the panel information for floor load as shown in the following screenshot. Either you can pritn the panel information in output file or in an external text file. Once you have switched on these options, the panel information along with the member list, applied load due to floor load on each member will be reported.
The option is available in the connection edition but, is there any option to check it in previous versions?
This has been implemented quite sometime back and not in the Connect Edition. The SS6 versions like 20.07.11.90, 20.07.11.82 etc. should also have it.
