Help required on Error: Configuration system failed to initialize
This error occurs when STAAD is opened. However, there is no problem due to it.
version used: Connect Edition 21.00.00.57
This looks like an installation issue. Since a reinstall is recommended, can you please uninstall the existing CE version 21.00.00.57 and install the newer update for the CE which is 21.00.01.12 ? Please ensure that you right click on the installer and choose Run As Administrator when you install. Please let us know how it goes.
I do have the same issue. I reinstalled with newer update and also chose Run as Administrator while installing but issue remain as it is. Please help me Sir.
1. Close all STAAD.Pro application
2. Delete the folder user.config( Loaction:C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Bentley_Systems_Inc\SXP.exe_StrongName_fxqs5rvvw2xk1p5hc1z1hodpmbplqie2\1.0.0.0
3. Open STAAD.Pro and check if the error is still coming or not
