Hi colleague,
I'm trying to perform a 3D analysis and design to a concrete structure, lateral resistance on shear wall, how is the best way to introduce the shear wall, as shell or as member, the big problem with the member I don't find the proper command to make opening in it.
I'm not familiar with that message. Start with one rectangular shell selected, or multiple shells that align vertically to make a wall, then try to assign a concrete wall design to it from Modules - Walls - Assign. I usually select the wall shell and the opening when doing this, though selecting the opening is not strictly required (in my version).
If that does not work we will need to get your file and confirm your version.

I know how to place opening on shell, but went I try to make design of the shear wall and get reinfocerment this is the msn I get
Good, the command to add an opening in the shell is to the right. Click F1 while there for help.
I' m using RAM Element CE, I already have the model with shell for wall.
What software are you using? For most concrete shear walls with openings using any finite element program, I would recommend a plate/shell element with an opening.
