Can I get the following details in the staad output file.
You can get the member effective lengths and unbraced lengths reported as part of the TRACK 2 design output in the STAAD.Pro output file. The member fixities ( or releases ) are reported in the output file if you include a command like PRINT MEMBER INFORMATION LIST 1 TO 5 where 1 to 5 are the member numbers.
1. Member effective length factor, Im getting the calculated effective length where as I require only the "k" value.
2. Is unbraced length same as member length?

1. If you use Track 2 command in input file, the output file will show you Kz & Ky value for every member.
2. In Staad, by default node to node member distance is unbraced length.
