Question

Dear Concerned,

Is there a way to import Tendons into RAM Concept or to manipulate data information using a readable form of Data similar to the GCFF File,

Also is RAM Concept VBA compatible, this will also allow us to quickly modify Slabs, Frames, Columns or Tendons, Or even to extract Data, we are mainly concerned with tendons

Regretfully no, tendon objects cannot be created through the GCFF file interface at this time and there is no application programmer's interface (API) to edit the data more directly. It's come up before but never to the top of the backlog.

A python-based scripting API with some read-in and write-out capabilities will be available in RAM Concept Version 8 Update 2, which is scheduled to be released in the upcoming months. If you are interested in previewing that feature in a Beta release, please send me a private message.

 You can use the RAM Concept API to write point loads into a model. However, you might be limited by the fact that RAM Elements does not have an open API. You could collect reactions in a spreadsheet in a form will be easily read by the API and then use the API to read the coordinates and the force/moment magnitudes for those point loads into RAM Concept. 
 A Getting Started Guide for RAM Concept's API is included in the documentation. To access, click on Help - API Documentation in RAM Concept and review the links in the Getting Started section. 
 Sample scripts are installed with RAM Concept and saved in C:\Program Files\Bentley\Engineering\RAM Concept CONNECT Edition\RAM Concept CONNECT Edition V8\python\examples. The "add_loads.py" will be useful for what you are looking to accomplish.
