There is an article in STRUCTURE magazine (http://www.structuremag.org/?p=9911) that describes using shell elements in FEA software to analyze complex masonry shear walls. Are there any resources or examples that provide more information on how to do this using RAM Elements?
Look in the Ram Elements program manual for Shell Interfaces or click F1 for help on the shells - interfaces tab for help. The interfaces we implemented were intended for masonry walls in various conditions based on a paper called "Filling in the frame" by David T. Biggs and seem to follow the same guidance of your reference.
