Hi All,
I installed STAAD RCDC on my system and after 7 days, it stopped working. The licence is activated but I cannot open any new project or sample projects.
I made attempt to uninstall and reinstall, but the error during initialisation says "Failed to establish a connection to localhost".
How do i resolve this please.

Can you please try uninstalling all the versions of STAAD RCDC and install the latest version?
This error is an indication that Databse for STAAD RCDC is malfunctioning. Please go to Programs and features and you will find PostgreSQL 8.3- uninstall it.
Uninstall PostgreSQL folder from-
C:\Program Files (x86)\
Now, install PostgreSQL 8.3 - this can be downloaded from the following

I tried the same , but it never fixed, error comes just after clicking advance concrete design.
This is Postgress issue and needs reinstallation of Postgress. I would request you to submit a help ticket so that we can take remote and solve the issue.
