Referring to attached design report of chevron connection, on page 8, 9 & 10, may I know how the demand forces is obtained for design of top & bottom claw angle and splice plate ?

That looks like a SCBF Chevron per AISC 360-10 LRFD with 341-10 seismic provisions, so the brace demand for seismic design is based on the expected yield strength of the brace in tension, Ry Fy Ag.
