Using AECOsim SS6 (not Connect)
We are having issues with people opening the composition and accidently changing the crop region in the saved view (for whatever reason). This happens every so often inadvertently. The problem is that we have multiple Sheets where its section call out has moved from its original location due to someone messing with the Section composition file.
Is there a way to lock the location of the Section Call out after it has been activated from its marker? So that if it composition is ever affected again, we don't have to go and fix 60 drawings?
Thanks and let me know!
On simple way is to use the element lock command. . select the callout (cut Plane) and chose CTRL+L to lock the element

I see, if I put an element lock on each call out, that would lock it from moving, but if that drawing that the marker is referencing gets put on a different sheet, will the sheet numbers and drawing numbers update? (after updating links in composition) or will it need to be unlocked?
Hi Brenda, I tested out the element lock method, it does not work. I locked my section call out, went back to its composition saved view, made a slight adjustment to the crop region. Went back to my sheet and noticed that even with element lock, the section call out still moved. Any other ways to lock the section marker in place?
I tested this out and yes , even with element lock on the section call out it sill will update.
