I am new using Staad pro and Ram.I have a question about how I can do a mathematical model of a beam using a discretization.
I mean, I want to analyze this beam (figure), I want to model as an area element, but I don't know how I can do that in Staad Pro.

You can do it using plate elements meshed as per requirement and using required thickness.

No you need not assign beams. You need to model plates and assign plate thickness to them. Try once if you encounter any problem please upload the file.
