Hello,
I have a single story structure with gravity beams, columns and with concrete walls. My lateral force resisting systems are shear walls. I am trying to do the lateral analysis and found my wall forces and diaphragm shear values differ. I have attached the image below with my results. It is my understanding that, to design shear walls I use the diaphragm forces and based on the type of diaphragm I split the diaphragm forces to the shear walls. So my total shear wall forces in any direction should be equal to diaphragm shear in the same direction, but I don't get the same values as you can see in the image below. Am I missing something here??
Thanks,
Day
I can't be sure if the wall shear forces you are showing and the diaphragm shear are for the same load case and in the same direction. Here are some useful tips:

And regarding wall group forces see this:

For checking equilibrium, you can also use the Analysis Log to get the sum of reactions. Double checking results with a rigid diaphragm, no P-Delta and ground level at the base is also advised.
