I've checked the torsion design per DG9 option, and am getting torsion calc results for an MC12x14.4 stringer, and overstresses in that case that match up with a second software. However, changing the L Torsion parameter doesn't seem to have any effect on the torsion overstresses. Am I missing something here? Specifying a torsional bracing length should help, should it not? Is ELements ignoring that parameter?
I scanned the design guide and find little reference to unbraced length. It does not directly enter into the equations anywhere that I see. I found in my test model, with a wide flange beam, that the yielding controlled.

Sorry, had a brain fart. I guess I was thinking of the angle of deflection where the length factors in, but you're right - not a factor in the strength. My bad.
