I'm running STAAD 20.07.11.90, and in my model I'm checking a tension only WT5x11 that by inspection passes easily, but STAAD appears to be checking the tension force as if it were a compression force. File attached. Member in question is 1958
If you are using a tension/compression only members or springs, then the Load Combinations must be changed into Repeat Loads. More information on this can be found here: communities.bentley.com/.../member-tension-and-combination-load-cases-tn
