Is it possible to customize an existing section database to include only certain sections & rename it as a database for only a particular project?
For example, a project that utilizes British sections will use only selected members due to commercial availability, for example.
It would then be helpful if we could edit an existing section database to include only the required members for that project so that it will be easier during the design stage.

Is this option still available for STAAD Connect Edition, specifically for the Physical Workflow?
I have actually edited the section database in the Analytical workflow.
However, since we are utilizing the Physical Model, we can only change the section through the Physical Workflow.
This option is available in the Analytical Modeler only, to the best of my knowledge.
As Modestas mentioned, it is not possible to do what you are looking for from within the Physical Modeler. The only way around would be to go to Utilities > Drop Physical Model from within the analytical model, to break the link between the physical and the analytical model and then use the Analytical Modeling interface which would allow you to add certain sections to a project.
