Hello,
I am designing shop prefabricated structure for lifting / transport / handling.
I have 2 files / cases with similar configuration and weight / loads applied.
But still I find the deflection for both of them differ by 80% margin.
I am uploading both files 'Case 1' & 'Case 2' via secure file upload.
Case 1 has more load (check the support node reactions in postprocessing) and are applied at the same location as compared to case 2.
But case 1 show less deflection of column for SLS combination (check column HE 120A vertical Y deflection).
I could not find why the there is so difference in deflection?
Please let me know what is the problem?
Regards,
Vishal
I am really surprised, i could not recogn it.
But trust me i cross checked the Beta angles for both files many times (using the 3D visualization tool), bec it is the basic thing we have to do every time when we rotate the model (also it is a part of the work checklist).
Only thing i forgot to try, is to close the file & reopen. (common troubleshooting solution generally used for hardwares)
Anyway thanks for the response.
There are many difference between both models (geometry, loadings, bet angles) so different displacements is expected in my opinion.

Check any beam among bottom 2 members (HE120A) parallel to z axis at mid height along z axis.
Please let us know the exact beam number or node number whose deflection/displacement you are comparing between the models.
