I get the following message when trying to do an offset footing. I have a building on the boundary so have no option but to offset. Am I better to download an older version of the software? Anybody have a rough idea of time before this is reinstated?

We are hopeful of re-instating this feature within the next 6 months.
In the meanwhile, if the footing does not undergo any uplift for any of the load cases, meaning, the area in contact with the soil is 100% for all load cases, then, you could use version 8.3.0.20 for this feature.

I just raised a query (https://communities.bentley.com/products/ram-staad/f/ram-staad-forum/158582/offset-isolated-footings) however, as i noticed your response w.r.t the % in contact; can you suggest me, which earlier version of STAAD.Foundation can i use, wherein loss of contact of upto 20% may be allowed.

Design of isolated footings where columns are at some distance away from the center of the footing has been reinstated in SFA. Use version 9.2.0.34 or newer.
