Can someone help me to rectify it, please? As per my understanding releases in staad are local and not global so I have released MY and MZ in the middle

RE: Channel Angle connection

Your understanding of the releases is correct.

The instabilities at the nodes are however reported with respect to global directions. You are getting these warnings at nodes 5 and 6 as there are no rotational restraints about global X at these nodes because the local MZ moments at the start and end of the angle member are fully released and supports at the ends of the longer beams are PINNED. To take care of the instability warning you may change the full release for the angle member to partial release. A modified file is attached for your reference.
