Adding members/nodes/plates to an existing group

Hi,

I have created a model and have few groups, while grouping I have missed to assign group to some members. Now how can I add a(few) member to an existing groups which already have members assigned to it?

Thanks,

  • Dear user,

If you are having a group and want to insert some more entity in that group you need to open create group window (ctrl+g). Then you can highlight the entities of a group by selecting the group name & using Highlight option. Then you need to press control and select the entities you need to insert. After graphically selection is complete you need to check "Associate to selected geometry" option and click on "associate".

You can also type the member numbers in editor file in the same group.

If the model is a big and complex one then you can create a new group with the entities you want to include in the group. Then going into editor file you can just copy paste the entity numbers in the existing group definition and then delete the newly created group.

    Thanks & Regards,
