I don't know if it is a bug in the new release of Staad Pro or if I am doing something wrong.
When I send a model from the Physical Model to the Analytical model the Loads Definition tab has its bottom grey out, see:
As you can see the option for "New", "Add" are grey out.
The icons on the top for load are also grey out:
I am running the last version of Staad Pro Connection with windows 10 Pro.
I don't have this problem in project without the physical model, see:

Hi friends, I just did one more test?
If I drop the Phyical Model (click in the Icon in the utilities tab) the load definition tab returns to work... but I loose the physical connection !!!

Correct. If you drop the physical model, you will lose the connection between the analytical and the physical model. However at this point of time if generating the loads and adding loads in the analytical modeler is a requirement, then that is the only way out. The version of STAAD.Pro to be released early next year, is going to have the other loading capabilities included in it and at that point you would be able to handle the load generations in the physical modeler and would not need to drop the physical model.

Is this still the case for v22 for STAAD Connect? Is the intention that all the previous loading available for analytical-only models will be made available for physical modeler?
I believe I recall that v21 of Connect would put the loading from the physical model into the reference loads of the analytical model but still allow users to use the primary / combination load cases for analysis. This was the only way I could think of my colleagues could utilize the physical model for use with ISM/AECOSim integration while still allowing full functionality with the analytical model. Right now, I don't see us being able to utilize the physical modeler due to STAAD's current state, as breaking the link to the physical model basically defeats the whole purpose of using it.
Is there an approximate date that Bentley intends to launch the newer version?

Michael : As far as this loading part is concerned, it is the same in version 22. We have made a number of major changes/advancement in the STAAD.Pro v22 which you can find at

Regarding your concerns, we are completely with you. I would like to let you know that we are actively working on getting ALL the loading options into the Physical Modeler. In fact there will be a release in the next few weeks which would have the response spectrum/time history loads implemented in the Physical Modeler. The plan is to implement all other remaining loads by June/July of this year.
