I have a main grid system in Ram SS with orthogonal axes vertical and horizontal. I also have a single line grid system defined by two points on the Y grid and one point on the X grid. I rotated the one line grid (neg 105 degrees). If I place a steel column at the intersection of the skewed X grid line named "X" and one of the X grid lines for the main grid system named "J", will Ram SS use the grid label from each grid system and identify the column as "J-X" or "X-J" or simply use the coordinates.
I would like to see Ram identify the column by grid labels. The other alternative might be to make the one line grid with one point on the Y and 2 points on the X.
We only use the grid reference when two crossing grid lines from the same grid system occur at the column location. 2 grid lines from 2 different systems will make a snap point, but we don't currently identify the column by those grids, only by coordinates.
