I am trying to calculate the temperature load effect on a concrete slab. However, the stress resulted is too large. Refer to other software, there will be a reduction factor considering the concrete creep at 0,3~0.5. However, I didnt find any place in the STAAD to add such factor. Pls kindly provide me suggestions on solving this. Many thanks!

The concrete creep parameter (ECR) setting is available for EC2, NS 3473 and TS500 codes in RC Designer mode - as design parameters. In STAAD.Pro, concrete creep is not considered during analysis.For slab analysis and design, you can use RAM Concept (requires license), where creep and shrinkage effects are perfectly captured.
