i created a model in different BIM software like Revit, robot structure analysis , Bentley staadpro, aecosim etc..the model is verified and analysed but the ifc file exported from these software doesnt contain analysis data, loading, bending, moments data etc.
i explored building smart and find that ifc 2x3 have structural analysis entites but its not supported by any of BIM software for export..as i checked at mine own i even tried scia engineer, there is the same problem as well..i need help in this work...any help or solutions or any suggestions???
I want software that can export its analysis calculation like moment , reactions, etc to IFC file i.e .ifc format
Sir,
Acc to buildingsmart we have to follow that , so why we are not working on exporting analysis data to direct IFC.
I AM working on this , but due to less permison granted of software we cant have permison of softwares to work fully opened.
But if you have idea to any software you ever heard exporting analysis data to IFC then please help with that.
Thank you
You can create files of analysis output in text or pdf format and attach it to the BIM file (we do this with published iModels for example), but I don't know of any solution yet for linking analytical results (like member forces for load cases) directly to the IFC file. It could potentially be a huge amount of data.
