When I try to create 3D pdf to share with others, it only comes with green color. Is there any way to show color coded similar to that inside STAAD pro??
If generating a pdf of a colored 3D rendered view of a STAAD.Pro model serves your purpose, here is how you can do it
Right click the mouse and choose Labels. Go to the Structure tab and choose Full Sections.
You may now color the model by any attributes ( say Property ) as shown below
Once you have the colored 3D rendered model, right click and choose Print Current View. You may choose the Print to Pdf option from inside the Print dialog box
Sye, I know what you are talking about, we are dealing with a complicated mechanical/structural models and I need to share the model to drafters/designers for detailing, there is no independent STAAD viewer to be used by them, that's why I said 3D pdf, currently when I create *.dgn file I can open it in Bentley view and print it as 3D pdf; it is the exact model in a dynamic pdf file and can be viewed, measured, rotated, enlarged, …etc but the issue it is in a single color, I've seen other software is capable to create colored 3D pdf i.e. similar to what you showed, but in external very small size pdf file.

I do not know where this option to print a 3D pdf is. Am i missing a printer driver that is available with staad? I had a fresh installation on a new pc 2 weeks ago (though i have never tried this before that anyway)
The 3D printer is not inside STAAD itself, but other Bentley software. You need to create ISM Repository for the file in STAAD, then read it in the other software who is able to do 3D pdf.
