Not sure what or why this error is occurring but it seems to happen when I incorporate steel design parameters into the model. I've looked at recent posts and tried increasing the Memory, along with removing the Load List commands but it does not seem to work. any help is appreciated.
Please attach that STAAD model here if possible. Also, let us know the exact STAAD.Pro version being used.
Hi,

The program is facing problem with MEMBER INACTIVE command. If you inactivate this command in your model, there ill not be any problem.4214.STRUC_TK.std
Dear Sir,
I have the same issue and didn't find the solution. Attached is the file. I use staad connect V22 Update 7.
Please adviseESP-ID_R2.std
Hello Rianto,
In the latest version i.e. V22 u7, we have encountered some memory related issue where plates are available in the model with large number of load combinations. We are working to fix this asap. As a workaround you can use SET NL command to allocate some extra memory. For your model SET NL 250 seems okay to run the file.
Hope this helps.
Thanks A Lot Abhisek, Now, It works fine.
So, It means that SET NL need to be set-up to close with the number of Load Combinations. It was, I assume 50 just to consider the primary load only. Please advise
Yes. If there are plate elements then you need to consider the load combinations also.
