My project involves cantilever slabs without peripheral beams, modelled and analysed in Staad pro. The challege is that the cantilever slabs seem not recognized by RCDC for design and detailing. Any way to get around this please?
You may define dummy beam members ( negligible E, zero density ) in STAAD.Pro around periphery of the cantilever slab to form the panel. Subsequently in RCDC you may set the panel type as three edges discontinuous.
