Hi,
Hopefully someone can answer this. I created a concrete structure using STAAD.PRO CONNECT EDITIONs PHYSICAL MODELLER Workflow. Then after that I also analyse it using the same software. Save and close the file.
To finish my design, I opened it in SACD-RCDC but to my disappointment SACD was telling mw that column is missing.
But if i tried to open it in v8i and remove all physical member properties, SACD works.
My question, IS IT NOT ALLOWED TO DESIGN A FILE WITH PHYSICAL MEMBER? OR THERE IS REMEDY FOR THIS ONE?
I am also having the same issued. i created the physical model for my structure in connect edition staad pro. physical modeling V.6. after return to the analytical model in staad pro cant design the column and beam. its shows error - cant design beam and column
Hello,
RCDC can read files from SPPM (STAAD.Pro Physical Modeller). As of now, UPT sections can not be read in RCDC and we are working on the same and that will be incorporated soon.
When you define any concrete section in SPPM there is a calculate option. If you use this calculate option the sections become UPT and if you do not use that option the sections become prismatic. To work now, you need not press the calculate button and then the sections will be imported in RCDC.
This will be enhanced in next version.
thank you for your replay. i already press calculate option so how can I redo?
You can go to catelog and double click on the section name. This will open the edit box for sections. make all the calculated values zero manually and save. Now, all the sections should transform to prismatic.
