In the physical modeler work flow would you import the .dxf file in the analytical model and then go back to the physical modeler to start your modeling?
Dxf file cannot be imported into the Physical Modeler. Also, you cannot bring data from the Analytical Modeler into the Physical Modeler - only opposite action is possible.

Huh, that's kinda odd. Seems like you would want it in the Modeler. I will say Staad has made some big strides in the CE edition, but this seems odd. I know the focus is on ISM / revit, whatever, but for us small guys it would be awesome if you could just import a dwg as a background and place nodes at "snapping" points of the dwg background. I don't need the dwg converted to anything other than snapping points. Anyway thanks for the response!
