I want to design pile cap with only one pile underneath, staad foundation is not allowing single pile arrangement causing trouble in designing pile cap!! please throw some light over it.
I think single pile arrangement is available in the Mat Foundation job only, but not in the Pile Cap job.
please elaborate !!!! how can we design single pile pile cap in mat Foundation??
You need to create a Mat foundation job and then provide a single pile in the Pile Layout. In the Default properties of the Mat foundation Job, you can select how the piles are connected to that mat - Pinned Headed or Fixed Headed. Everything else is usual as for regular Mat design.
