Is there a way to add two different moving loads in a combination?

Hello,

I have 3 moving loads. I want to combine type 1 with type 2 and then type 1 with type 3. Is there a way I can do it in one model.

Thanks

  • You may create Load Combinations and as part of that, you may combine the generated load cases with appropriate combination factors. For example to combine the first generated case from each of the 3 moving load generations you may create a combination as shown below

    LOAD COMB 200

    2 1.1 36 1.2 70 1.3

Here I have used a LOAD COMB 200 and combined the generated cases 2, 36 and 70 with some arbitrary combination factors.

You would need to use the editor to type in these commands.
