Dear Colleagues,
I use STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition - Version 21.03.00.146, which was/is working fine; but the moment I load the application the below 'Exception' pops up.
Any suggestions highly appreciated.

If your property catalog is running then try stopping it first and then start it. Also, check and let me know if your physical modeler is running ok?

But due to restricted access, I wasn't able to stop/start back the "Structural Property Catalogue Manager's services"; however your step-by-step procedure below did the trick.
Can you please perform the following steps and let me know if your issue is solved? 1.Close all STAAD applications. 2. Go to the following location C:\Users\<User.Name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\Engineering Where <user.name> will be your name or the user who is using STAAD. 3. There will be a folder named “STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition”. Rename the folder to “STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition_1”. 4. Right click on the STAAD icon now and select the option Run as administrator.
