Hello,
I just installed Structural Synchronizer and the Revit ISM plugin to try and transfer a Revit Model to RAM SS. However, when I click on any of the buttons provided in the Bentley Revit Tab I get the following error:
"Revit could not complete the external command. Contact the provider for assistance. Information they provided to Revit about their identity:Bentley Systems, Inc.."

Here are some general troubleshooting steps for any ISM related issue:
1. Does the Structural Synchronizer Viewer open stand alone and can you view a sample file?
2. Does the viewer identify the user (upper right hand corner). If not, try signing in (this requires the Bentley CONNECTION Client to be installed and running).
3. If that's all OK, but you have a problem executing ISM actions like "Create Repository" using a simple test file, try rebooting.
4. If it's still a problem spot check with any other ISM enabled application to see if the problem is unique to one application (Revit in your case) or if it affects all ISM enabled applications.

I can login into Structural Synchronizer Viewer and view a sample file while logged in to the Bentley Connection Client. However, I cannot click a button on the Revit ISM toolbar without recieving the error above. I don't have the opprotunity to select a sample file since the error message occurs. I cannot locate the log file in the programdata that you specified.
Do you also get the error trying to access the ISM Revit Plugin Settings (Gear icon)?
Yes I get the same error. Basically anything that initiates the external command registers an error.
I also get the same error in 2018 Revit
