Shear results from query dialog box and postprocessing are different, so which is correct, please help me

  • If you are doing second order analysis then it may be worth noting that member query cannot accurately capture second order effects. Member query uses its own algorithm for calculation of section forces while Postprocessing table data are read from the analysis engine. So for any discrepancy, I would suggest going with the Postprocessing table data.
