I am using on RAM Connection in STAAD to design a gusset base plate connection. However, the shear applied to the anchor bolts does not match the reaction in STAAD. I think a sign has been reversed when STAAD moves the loads into RAM. I have an included an example below. Please let me know if the signs on the shear and moment loads are correctly carried through in RAM. I am using the latest version of STAAD Pro (now version 22.01.00.39). Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It does appear that the sign for the column shear force is getting reversed so when the Ram Connection program calculates the total shear based on the brace axial force component, it's incorrectly reducing the absolute shear by the column shear rather than adding it. I'll log the issue for correction.
