STAAD CONNECT EDITION -ACI 318 DESIGN VALUE IS NOT DISPLAYING

Question

Hi All We are having some technical issue while using Staad pro Connect addition 
 
 Please coordinate with the technical team to resolve issues 
 
 As we do Concrete design in Staad.Pro Connect Software, After Analysis we are not able to get the reinforcement percentage value. 
 We have done concrete design by AC318 Code. 
 we have attached a snap of Staad output and staad files for your reference. 
 But if we follow Indian code for the concrete design we are getting the concrete design values. 
 Please check and let us know a possible solution. 8231.staad model.STD

The Concrete Design tab in the Member Query box is not yet implemented in STAAD.Pro for the ACI 318-14 design code. An enhancement request #822159 is already logged to implement this feature in the upcoming versions of STAAD.Pro. In the meantime, the design results should be reviewed in the Output file.

You should find the area of steel required in the output file. If you cannot find it, please attach your model and let us know the exact STAAD.Pro version being used.

Currently the reinforcement results in the Output file are reported in meters. Add the UNITS MMS KNS command into the input file before the DESIGN COLUMN line and you will find reinforcement details in the millimeters in the Output file after the analysis.

Use the TRACK 2 design parameter to see the detailed design results. The design results are currently available in the Output file only for this design code.

Walter, 
 Since you mentioned that the meshing isn't working if an opening is introduced in the mat, try the following. 
 From the meshing setup page, delete the outer boundary and the opening. Then, define a new mesh boundary using the polyline method. See the figure below. This will enable you to obtain the same profile for the mat without having to create an opening.

Then, try meshing it. The following figure shows what we get on the current version using this method. 
 
 If the above procedure still doesn't generate the mesh, download and install the latest build of SFA. It is 9.3.0.14. You can get it from

Hello Walter, There are 3 licensing tires for STAAD.Pro 1) STAAD.Pro (known as basic) 2) STAAD.Pro Advanced 3) Structural Enterprise License (SEL) Users of 1) and 2) above must be licensed additionally to use RAM Connection (RC). Since RC is one of the software supported by SEL pack, user of SEL does not need to have an additional license of RC So RC is neither a part of STAAD.Pro CE nor a part of Structural SELECT Entitlement, To have an additional license of RC is must. Users of RC could use it in 2 different modes: 1) It could be invoked from STAAD.Pro environment after STAAD.Pro Analysis ( Connection Design option ) where RC extracts the connection design forces and moments at joints from STAAD.Pro analysis results. 2) It could be launched as a standalone software where connection design forces and moments are to be input manually. The subject line of this thread is ACI 318, due to which, our RC specialists may not notice your current set of questions.
