Hi, I'm getting different results if I don't add a beam at the edge of the deck where it switches to a different one vs if I add a beam at the same location. The loads going into to the column is different. Could you please let me know? I could send in the model if required.

If it's one-way deck, hen adding a beam certainly changed the tributary area, the loads to the beam, etc. Check into these tech notes:
Seth, thanks! But we are spanning the deck in the same direction/ orientation we are adding the beam. So the load should be distributed to the outer beams regardless in both the cases. Please let me know.
Not exactly. Load from any portion of the slab that is recognized as the "slab overhang" is applied to the adjacent perimeter beam, regardless of deck orientation. It's only within the limits of the framing that the program uses deck orientation for tributary load determination. That's why this topic comes up: Missing or incorrect loads on perimeter beams
