I don't think that you can add a line in the diagram, however, you can increase the number of divisions (Max No Divisions option) and the diagram would look better.

Sorry, that was really unclear. I was hoping to add a continuous line to follow the change in the moment along the span.

By the way, the STAAD.Pro version which you are using seems to be quite an old one. I would encourage you to upgrade to the most recent STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition - version 22.01.00.39 as most of the older STAAD.Pro versions are not supported anymore.

Click on that diagram so that the window of it would become active. Then go to Edit -> Take Picture. This picture now can be inserted into the report from the Report Setup.

I am not sure if I understand the 2nd part of your question. Could you please elaborate?
