I was wondering if anyone had experience with modeling steel framing over short gravity walls. I have a Floor with a height of 18'. Some of the interior walls are shorter at about 12', with a continuous footing along them. The entire floor

RE: How to Model Steel Framing over Short Gravity Walls

Thank you!

RE: How to Model Steel Framing over Short Gravity Walls

I don't understand he purpose of an interior wall that does not support beams. If it's not a structural wall it does not need to be in the model at all.

If it does need to be in the model for some reason and it stops at a lower elevation with beams above it, that are not supported by it, then 2 levels types and 2 stories are required.
