I&amp;#39;ve managed to figure it out. Apparently, I&amp;#39;m supposed to choose the main beam members as &amp;#39;Haunched&amp;#39; members rather than &amp;#39;prismatic&amp;#39; members. This enables one to use the steel member option as a brace.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also discovered that the option to design of the Apex haunch seems to only be for the American codes. How can I switch to the design with the British codes?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;how do I&amp;nbsp;make the beam stiffener a H or I section. The stiffening option is can see for MEP Apex are steel plates, but not structural steel members. Please help&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
