My question is what stiffness factors one should use for these rigid zones:

If you are thickening the slab to make the joint stiffer then you can Leave K at 1. Increasing K would be another approach to achieve the same thing. Moment stiffness is related to E but to t cubed, so the increasing K vs t is not linear.
