Is there a way to turn off all the pop up dialogue boxes that open when STAAD starts? i.e Bentley CONNECT Advisor, Assign Project ,CONNECTION Client etc...
I don't use (and have no intention of using) the new functions that STAAD offers on start up. These pop up windows are irritating (especially when working with multiple models) and seem to slow the process down.
Can I change the startup so that when I open a file, it goes straight into the main program without all the pop ups?
I have changed all the settings I can see to prevent things open but nothing changes in operation.

You can off the connect advisor from the below settings under configuration.
Other pop-up can not..
But for a file if you do not want to see the assign project next time that can be done from below option, by pressing NO.
The answer above works for older versions. I do not believe that it will work for the Connect version

Thanks. It took me a while to find this window. Namely, I had a model open. Once I closed it. The configuration menu was more apparent.
I too would like to be able to turn off the "Assign project" dialog box that also appears in RAM Elements and RAM Structural System. Especially since Bentley charged us a "trust usage" the time I did try using that "feature" when it first was introduced. Never again.
